Owner’s Representative
— PO&M provided site management and oversight
for the construction of a Greenfield Power Plant. PO&M
were responsible to the Owner’s corporate office for
interface with General Contractor, Project Management of
smaller parts of the project such as Natural Gas Pipeline,
Fuel Oil Tank, Controls Integration, interface with equipment
vendors, Relay testing, commissioning and start-up of the
complete plant.
Contract Management —
PO&M provided a contract plant manager to assist a client
in improving the availability and reliability of the power
plant. The contract also included searching for a replacement
plant manager and transitioning to that person.
Contract Management — PO&M provided
a contract General Manager to assist a client with managing
two power plants. One of the key activities during this
contract was the successful transition from on O&M service
provider to another O&M service provide at one of these
plants.
Contract Management — PO&M provided
a contract Utilities Manager for a large integrated process
plant. One of the key activities during this contract was
the re-configuration of the utilities plant systems and
equipment to dramatically reduce operating costs, making
the overall plant more profitable.
Maintenance Assistance — PO&M
assisted a client with maintenance improvement projects,
planning and scheduling, pro-active maintenance, outage
management, project planning being some of the issues addressed
by PO&M.
Outage Assistance — Assisted a client
with inspections of HRSG and balance of pant equipment for
a combined cycle power plant. This was their first outage
and asked PO&M to provide assistance.
Due Diligence — Assisted a client
with O&M expertise during the prospective purchase of
three power plants. Provided input to the pro-forma and
provided plant condition and staff competence assessments
to aid in the decision.
Start-Up Staff — Provided electrical
start-up staff for a Greenfield power project. Developed
the backfeed procedure, the initial synchronizing procedure
and multiple commissioning and start-up procedures for the
plant electrical equipment.
Start-Up Staff — PO&M provided
operations staff during the start-up activities for a Greenfield
power project. These persons augmented and trained the permanent
staff and developed commissioning procedures for all system.
Start-Up Manager — PO&M provided
the start-up and commissioning manager for a green field
two unit combustion turbine project. This person was responsible
for all commissioning and start-up activities, including
integration of start-up schedule with construction, turnover
package management, punch list, commissioning procedures,
interface with vendors, and reporting to client contact
person.
Start-Up Engineer — PO&M provided
the start-up engineer for a controls company to assist the
owner with plant start-up for a Thermal Oxidizer project.
Start-Up Engineer — PO&M provided
a start-up engineer to support the commissioning and start-up
of a peaking plant. This project included controls assistance
for the plant DCS, and operational assistance during the
commissioning and start-up activities. |
